Mesotherapy-- Changing You From the Inside Out
Men and Women are learning to train their fat cells to be thin!
Mesotherapy is a revolutionary way to treat cellulite and fat as well as rejuvenate the skin of the face and neck. You can get dramatic results - all without surgery or long recuperations. Using a series of micro-injections of a blend of conventional and homeopathic medications, Dr. Mudd targets those specific problems areas that you want to change. Each client is treated with an individually customized formula that is specific to their needs, body type, and metabolism.
Eliminate Fat and Cellulite and Sculpt Your Body With Mesotherapy
Dimple buns, cottage cheese thighs, saddle bags, bulging stomachs, and much more can be eliminated through mesotherapy. Mesotherapy requires no invasive surgery, general anesthesia, special after care garments, recuperative medications, or bandages. There is minimal downtime from normal activities. Patients just have to avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. You can eliminate unsightly fat from hard to reduce areas of the body, you can even target cellulite, something that is impossible with liposuction! You can remove unwanted pockets of body fat and return your body to its natural shape and contours. Many of those who have had liposuction in the past are turning to mesotherapy to smooth unevenness from surgery and any subsequent weight gain.
Cellulite is that dimpling and lumpiness (cottage cheese appearance) especially in the legs and buttocks, that even thin people can experience. Unfortunately dieting and exercise won't affect these areas and liposuction is also ineffective (it only removes deep body fat). Mesotherapy can address the underlying causes of cellulite- impaired microcirculation, non-elastic connective tissue, water retentions, and swelling fat cells that cause cellulite formation. We have the most successful combined cellulite treatment program on the market today.
Have a More Youthful Face Right Now with Rejuvenation Mesotherapy
Rejuvenation mesotherapy is a great way to have the lift without the stitch! It fights the effect of aging by tightening and firming loose skin, as well as restoring the natural appearing youthful glow and radiance to skin that is generally seen in younger persons. Rejuvenation mesotherapy can be used anywhere to improve the body's skin, but is especially used in the face, neck, decollete, hands, arms, and thighs. Rejuvenation mesotherapy restores natural skin nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and anti-oxidants back to the treated areas. Unfortunately, as we age, these essential ingredients are lost from skin cells, so they are unable to generate new youthful looking skin cells as rapidly as they did when we were younger. We are then left with dull looking, sagging skin. These effects can be reversed as the skin regenerates itself more quickly following the mesotherapy treatment. Most patients will notice immediate improvement in the skin's surface appearance, before they even leave the office, and then will notice continued improvement in the skin's glow and radiance as the skin cells regenerate. The nutrients used in rejuvenation mesotherapy are also critical for collagen formation. Collagen synthesis takes 2-6 months but the rejuvenation mesotherapy will promote greater collagen growth in treated areas than in areas that were not treated. Therefore, rejuvenation mesotherapy is a great adjunct to improve results from any treatment that is designed to promote improved skin appearance and tightness, such as Micro Laser Peel

FAQ
=======
Q. What is Mesotherapy?
A. Mesotherapy is an exciting and simple nonsurgical procedure for the reduction of fat and cellulite. It can also be used rejuvenate skin primarily of the face, neck, decollete, and hands, although it can be used to improve skin anywhere on the body. Pioneered in France by Dr. Michel Pistor over 50 years ago, it was only available in Europe and parts of South America, until introduced in the United States by Dr. Lionel Bissoon in the late 1990's. Until recently, it was offered predominately in a few U.S cities, such as New York, West Palm Beach, and Beverly Hills. Dr. Mudd's opening of the New You Center in Westerville, Ohio, saves you a trip to Paris, New York or Rio. Now you can get the same mesotherapy treatments in the Midwest that you used to have to leave the country to find!
Q. How Safe is Mesotherapy?
A. Mesotherapy is extremely safe. It has an over 50 year track record of safety, and like all healthy fields of medicine, it continues to improve over time. All the medications are either approved by the FDA (although used in an off-label fashion which is not unusual, since physicians effectively use many medications in this manner to treat medical problems) or are homeopathic medications created by reputable compounding pharmacies (by federal law, the FDA is forbidden to regulate homeopathic medications, which include many naturally occurring plant extracts, vitamins, minerals, and other pharmaceuticals).
Q. What is the difference between mesotherapy and liposuction?
A. Liposuction forcefully removes fat by suctioning it from body areas using a large tubelike device called a cannula. It is a surgically invasive procedure that will require significant anesthesia. Large doses of pain medication are generally needed during recuperation. Post-liposuction patients wear special post-operative binding garments for several weeks along and are unable to perform usual activities. Liposuction cannot successfully treat cellulite or more superficial fat. Patients who have undergone liposuction frequently complain that over time, they develop increased fat deposits elsewhere in their body since they continue to feed the remaining fat cells not previously removed by the liposuction.
Q. How does Mesotherapy work?
A. Very small amounts of medication, are applied in a series of microinjections directly placed into the areas to be treated. Our mesotherapy programs use a tiny needle about the width of a human hair, to help with comfort while still getting a high level of results. Each mesotherapy treatment is tailored to the individual needs, body type, and metabolism of the client.
Q. What will Mesotherapy treat?
A. At the New You Center, Dr. Mudd applies mesotherapy to get dramatic results by eliminating cellulite and deep body fat on any part of the body. Popular areas for fat removal include the thighs including saddlebags and inner thighs; hips and love handles; tummy pouch and tummy fat; back; arms; double chins; and facial fat deposits including the jowls, jaw line, cheeks, nasolabial areas, and eye fat pads. Rejuvenation mesotherapy is used to rejuvenate skin anywhere on the body where there is sagging and dull skin but is especially popular on the face, neck, decollete, hands, arms, and thighs.
Q. When will I see results?
A. Dramatic results in reducing fat deposits can be seen in as few as 4-5 sessions depending on body type, metabolism, and a program of good nutrition, and exercise. The total number of treatments is more a function of body type and the area treated. Quite honestly, some pockets of fat are more resistant. You may require 10 or more treatments depending on your goals. Most patients require an average of 8-10 treatments for cellulite. Skin rejuvenation results are seen very quickly, usually within 1-2 sessions.
Q. How long do the treatments take?
A. Treatment sessions usually take 30-60 minutes with mesotherapy fat reduction treatments being given no more often than once weekly until the desired effects are achieved. Most of this time is necessary for the application of the topical anesthetic, and not the actual injections.
Q. What are the side effects?
A. Minimal bruising can occur but this is minimized through the use of microinjection techniques. If it does occur it only lasts a few days. Other possible side effects may include mild swelling, sensation of warmth, or temporary soreness. Some of the enzymes used in cellulite mesotherapy can rarely cause a rash, although the patient is tested for this prior to initiation of treatment.
